Plot summary

Michel Vaillant is the unbeatable driving champion of car rallies and races around the world. His success and that of his team, Vaillante, provoke as much admiration as it does jealousy from rival teams. Ruth Wong, who manages the Leader team, knows how to use her charms to get what she wants. She's determined to avenge the memory of her father, the famous Leader. Willing to go to any lengths to win, she uses her imagination in her quest to destroy Vaillant and his team.
Michel, focused at the wheel of his blue Vaillante number 10, waits at the starting line of the Mans 24 hour car race. Beside him is his friend, Steve Warson, an exceptional American driver, in Vaillante number 8. Just in front of them are two red, monstrously aggressive cars driven by two of the Leader team, Bob Cramer and Dan Hawkins. This time Michel and his team won't be competing for the highest place on the podium, but for their lives. Danger doesn't only lurk on the racing track and the countdown is underway.
