Plot summary

Izzy Maurer è un sassofonista jazz in crisi. Un giorno trova una borsa, accanto al cadavere di uno sconosciuto, che contiene un fazzoletto con su scritto un numero telefonico ed una scatola contenente una pietra misteriosa. Telefona al numero indicato e conosce una giovane attrice, Celia Burns. Sotto l'influenza magica della pietra, i due si innamorano. Quando Celia viene scelta per interpretare Lulu nel remake de IL VASO DI PANDORA, i due si separano per qualche tempo, pensano. Ma dei misteriosi personaggi sono alla ricerca della pietra e sequestrano Izzy, anche se questi ha lasciato l'oggetto alla ragazza. Così la storia d'amore prende un risvolto drammatico. Alla fine, i due non riusciranno più ad incontrarsi.
